Private family services were held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls for Valencia Rita Veches, age 89, of Avon, formerly of Minnetonka, MN who died on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her home in Avon.
Valencia was born to Eugene and Germaine (Bourdon) LaHaise on December 8, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan.
She is survived by her children, Christine Copeland of St. Louis Park, Joe Martin of New York, Paul Veches of Farmington, Michael Veches of Texas, Amy Johnson of Coon Rapids and stepson, Gary Veches of Crystal.
