Viola Strack

Viola Strack, originally of Grey Eagle Township, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Services will be held March 2, 2017 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Browerville and internment will follow in Clarrisa. Visitation will be one hour before services.
Viola was born October 16, 1924 in Grey Eagle Township to Paul and Evelyn (Trumble) Rachey. She attended school through the 10th grade and worked at Swift in Sauk Centre. Viola married Ruben Strack on October 19, 1941 and they moved to Brooklyn Park where Viola worked at Orr’s Bakery until moving to Clarissa in 1977.
She enjoyed reading, playing cards with her family, gardening, cutting wood and the many family camping trips. Viola is a member of the Tri-Parish Community.
She is survived by her children; Dan (Muriel) Strack, The Villages, FL, Linda (Curt) Kotval, Mesa, AZ, Tony (Barb) Strack, Browerville, MN, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Emily (Bob) Klassen and Loren (Diane) Rachey.
Viola is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben, parents, Paul and Evelyn, brothers, Robert and Fritz.
