ST CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 238 between County Road 10 in Albany and County Road 17, located north of Albany, will encounter delays while segments of the road are reduced to a single lane beginning Monday, May 15.
The closures will occur during daytime at different locations. Flaggers will allow one-way, alternating traffic through the daily work zones while each road segment is reduced to a single lane.
Also, Highway 238 north of County Road 17 to Upsala remains closed and detoured until further notice.
The closures are part of a project to improve Highway 238 between Albany and Upsala. The project will resurface the roadway and improve the roadbed, improve shoulders and replace or repair culverts. When complete, the project will improve the ride, safety and drainage along 14 miles of rural Minnesota roadway.
