Welle receives Education Minnesota Endorsement for House District 9B

Upon screening of candidates who have filed for House District 9B, Education Minnesota has issued endorsement to DFL candidate Adrian Welle of Pierz. Education Minnesota bases its endorsement on the candidate’s support of education and labor issues and showing a well-organized campaign.
Adrian Welle was endorsed for MN Representative District 9B, which includes most of Morrison County and parts of Todd County. Welle currently serves as a Pierz City Councilmember and City Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Upsala. He is a lifelong resident of Morrison County and currently resides in the city of Pierz.
Upon hearing of his endorsement Welle talked about the struggles in Education, and funding formulas in rural education. He talked about the importance of sending representatives to the state capitol who are willing to fight for rural Minnesota and rural Minnesota schools. “This election is crucial to send representation to the state capitol that understand that the children of this great state are our future leaders,” said Welle; “It is time for our schools to be repaid the money that last year’s legislature striped from Education.”
