ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists on westbound Highway 10 near Rice will encounter a short-term ramp closure at Benton County Road 2 on Tuesday, Oct. 13. The closure will begin Tuesday afternoon and will last approximately four hours while crews resurface westbound Highway 10 near the exit.
During the closure, motorists will need to find an alternate route.
The work is part of a larger paving project along 10 miles of Highway 10 between County Road 33/First Ave NE/60th Street W, north of Sartell, and County Road 40/Halfway Crossing, north of Rice.
Motorists should plan additional time for travel, especially during peak travel periods, and be prepared for slow or stopped traffic as they navigate the daily work zones.
When complete, the project will result in a smoother ride and ensure Highway 10 continues to serve local and regional motorists for many years.
Highway 10 is an important freight and tourism route, supporting the state’s metro and rural economies.
